Frankfort Falcons Cheer wraps up successful season
Five squads compete at state

Six squads brought spirit to the Frankfort Falcons season this year and five competed at the state level at the IRCA State Championship Competition. In order to go to the IRCA State Championship Competition, the squad must take a first place award at one of the qualified IRCA competitions.
Junior Varsity Black: IRCA State Champions
The JV Black placed first in three competitions this season, including the IRCA State Competition the weekend of Dec 5-6 at the NIU Convocation Center in DeKalb. The other two competitions were the Conant High School Spirit Challenge, held Oct. 24, the Tinley Park Cheer Extravaganza, held Nov. 14.

Lightweight Black
The lightweight black squad competed in the Tinley Park Cheer Extravaganza Nov. 14 and the Bourbonnais Cheer Bash Nov. 7, taking second place at both and also earning the spirit stick award from the Bourbonnais competition. The squad consists of Jillian Gosney, Chloe Murray, Isabel Passerelli, Hannah Barnard, Emma Barnard, Mackenzie Udani, Megan Januzewski, Grace Wetzel, Monica Nagy, Alex Marchet, Kayden Lane, Madison Parnello, Natalie Lamonto, Elle McGivern and Hannah Williams. Coaches are Karen Wenberg, Sarah Barnard, Lisa Udani, Koren Lane and junior coaches are Kayla, Sarah, Gianna and Lauren.
Lightweight Blue
The lightweight blue received third place at the Spirit Spectacular Nov. 8, and place first at the Tinley Park Cheer Extravaganza Nov. 14 to qualify them for State. Against the seven other squads at state, the lightweight blue placed third. Head coach is Jenn Golaszewski and junior coaches are Stacey David and Madison Hill. The team mom is Michele Sutter. Members of the squad include Jaz Culpepper, Caitlin Ferrari, Peyton Fries, Sydney Golaszewski, Natalie Hanlon, Lauren Hoffman, Amber Lemmons, Isabelle McCormick, Olivia Pertchi, Madison Phillips, Kendal Pitlik, Cameryn Piwowar,Hannah Smith, Samantha Sobczak, Bridgette Stepanek, Abigail Sutter and Peyton Szablewski.
Varsity Black
The Varsity Black squad placed first at the Spirit Spectacular Nov. 8, first at the Tinley Park Cheer Extravaganza Nov. 14, and second at the IRCA state championship Dec. 6. Members of the squad include Kaylin Berg, Miranda Bird, Anna Bradley, Sam Brusca, Janine Chiszar, Carli Conlon, Ele D'Ercole, Natalie Gandy, Ay Golaszewski, Monica Goldyn, Aleksei Hon, Briana Horton, Nicole Huss, Brianna Johnson, Shannon Jordan, Stephanie Lakawitch, Morgan Parkinson, Tori Pate, Emily Romano, Mikaela Shepard, Megan Skoniecki, Amanda Small, Gianna Vani, Hunter Walsh, Jesse Welker, Megan Wharrie, Alaina Wittrock and Paige Wolford. Coaches are Beth Vani, Sarah MacDonald, Brittney Sleeman and Corrin Teske.

Varsity blue placed first at the Spirit Spectacular Nov. 8, first at the Tinley Park Cheer Extravaganza Nov. 14, and second in the IRCA state championship Dec. 6.

Squad members include Ariana Antonelli, Alivia Ballard, Ashley Ballard, Rajeen Bell, Jackie Daly, Allei Ducay, Moriah Gaines, Avery Geagan, Hannah Golaszewski, Jamie Harris, Nicole Humenik, Alyssa Krause, Rachel McDonald, Marie Meyer, Jordan Perkins, Jessica Salazar, Cassidy Stolarek and Cassidy Sutter.
